We are delighted to share the inspiring story of Rachael (a mother of three children) who started a local clothing store that experienced a remarkable fast transformation, courtesy of the generous support from Heavenly Goshen. Rachael was doing well in her clothing business until the Covid-19 season in 2020. She faced financial constraints that threatened her business viability and eventually it collapsed.
Since then, she struggled to meet her daily needs and those of her children. She was referred to Heavenly Goshen to seek assistance. After the verification process, our organization stepped forward to genuinely support her in re-establishing her business back. We enrolled her in the empowerment classes and her full potential was pointed out by the trainers who supported and walked with her. Rachael responded positively and afterward she received some financial capital that infused the start of new life into the clothing business that collapsed in 2020.
She stocked up new clothes and with guidance from the trainers, she specialized in selling children’s clothing. Rachael is progressing well in her new venture and her success has been evident. She can now afford to educate her children well and provide basic needs for the family without a struggle. This has fostered growth and sustainability in her life. It has also brought much joy to her life and children.
The story of this clothing business serves as a powerful testament to the transformative potential of support from Heavenly Goshen. The vision and mission of the organization purposes to serve many others who are stranded and don’t know where to seek help. We hope this success story inspires others to support us as an organization to continue impacting low-income women who are victims of domestic violence and have lost hope in life.
